　　*your role :

　　ubs's global ib it team is looking for an experienced developer to join its equity derivatives desk dev team in shanghai. this position is open to professionals with 3 to 6 years of experience.

　　role description:

　　the role involves working together with front office trader and sales，utilizing a variety of technologies to provide fast time-to-market and applications，covering all aspects of equity derivatives: pricing and quoting，data analytics，market data，risk management，trade capture，etc. the role will be responsible for developing high quality trading and sales tools for the desk with a focus of integrating proven solutions into the more strategic application suite.

　　? the candidate will be participating in the design and development of cutting edge infrastructure，systems，and applications(both client and server side) used by front office to provide streamlined and revenue-making services to our clients，examples of which include:

　　- building and expanding a leading electronic rfq platform for ubs's flow structured business globally.

　　- designing and building new pricing and analysis tools with modern technology for trading vanilla to light exotic products globally.

　　- migrating legacy excel-based pricing / param / risk management tools onto service-based web apps using latest technology.

　　? the candidate will be expected to closely liaise with trading，sales，quants，structuring and the it group in the equity derivatives business. the products spread across exchange listed，otc and exotics.

　　technical capabilities:

　　? strong technical skills in at least one，and preferably two or more，of the following languages - c# / javascript / reactjs / typescript / python / java.

　　? solid background in data structure and algorithms.

　　? knowledge of front end web gui development will be a major plus.

　　? knowledge of equity derivatives will be a plus.

　　? knowledge of sql，kdb，http，tcp/ip，excel/vba and unix programming will be a plus.

　　? good understanding of testing and familiarity with different testing approaches. familiarity of tdd / bdd will be a plus.
